In this role you’ll be responsible for delivering a compelling customer experience by ensuring the successful configuration of the technical elements of EDUCLO software in our PaaS environment, ensuring that our software runs faster than the customers’ expectations.
You’ll work closely with R&D to continuously improve our processes and systems, our standard approach and provide feedback on any issues encountered that allow for continuous product improvement.
To test EDUCLO Digital software
Performance Testing with agile testing approach (Automation and manual testing) in line with the standards and processes in line with the practitest.com platform. The candidate should have the knowledge and ability to define test scope, types and testing techniques. Experience to setup the schedule of the activities, prioritise testing based on the risk based assessment, design test Cases and use the Agile and Dev Ops testing strategy. Candidate should have experience in the following testing knowledge.
Functional Testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Smoke Testing for testing from multiple angles, Load Testing, Stress Testing
Non - Functional Testing: Performance, usability, and reliability
Regression Testing: To ensure and verify new code changes do not disrupt existing functionality
Candidate should ensure to adhere to the effective communication by conducting regular meetings, fostering open lines of communication, ensure bugs don’t slip through the cracks and every issue is addressed. Involve customers to test and get the continuous feedback.
Knowledge and know how on the usage of the testing platforms such as PractiTest and Cypress. Candidate should be able to setup metricise to manage the escape defects index.
- Design and build automation test frameworks.
- Bug verification and tracking and fixing
- Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting
- Create and execute automated tests in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews and manage the test automation repository.
- Design, modify, and update automated test scripts independently.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing for production readiness.
- Analyze business requirements to enhance overall testing coverage.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure user stories are tested and ready for release.
- Report defects and resolve issues with developers before each release.
- Design and document test plans, test cases, and maintain test assets.
- Identify and implement QA process improvements.
- Proficiency in end-to-end Automation Testing with Cypress is Essential
- Advanced scripting skills in TypeScript is Essential
- Experience with API Automation Testing (Postman, Karate, Rest Assured, TestNG).
- Experience with source code management tools (GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with TDD and Shift-Left methodologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Experience in data-intensive applications testing and SQL.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML formats.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and drive BDD practices.
