    Are you ready for the next big challenge in your career? At EDUCLO, we are redefining the future of the ERP software that our customers use to run their organisations and ultimately deliver outcomes for the communities we live within, and we need your help! We are looking for an experienced Cloud Software Architect to help design, and work with development teams to build, our next generation, cloud-native ERP platform.

    You will be working with cross-functional teams across our engineering business to build the platform and to deliver exceptional services to your internal customers. You will love the mix of being able to both design/architect solutions, but then also be hands on - directly working on development, testing, deployment and support of the platform. You will have deep experience working in an agile environment and be comfortable with modern software development approaches that support fast delivery of value to customers and iterative feedback loops, including CI/CD deployments.

    We are looking for problem solvers, who are up for a challenge. You will be forging new paths, leaning on the strengths of your teammates and writing the playbook as you go. Our passion is to solve the complex, transforming business and making life simple – by leveraging our team’s innovation, drive and determination.

    • Design, Architect and Develop cloud-based software solutions, considering scalability, reliability, performance, deployment strategies, cost-optimisation, compliance and security.
    • Collaborate with other Architects, Product Managers, Software Developers, SRE and DevOps teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture; then work to realise their delivery
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing EDUCLO cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services, and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
    • Design and implement cloud architecture patterns and best practices, including microservices, serverless, containerization, and event-driven architectures.
    • Ensure the security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure, implementing robust security controls, monitoring mechanisms, and disaster recovery plans.
    • Collaborate with software development teams to define and enforce coding standards, delivery processes, and deployment automation.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Software Developers and other team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
    • Proven experience designing, developing and delivering end to end applications in Cloud Native platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing, containerization, networking, security and event driven architectures.
    • At our core we write in C# and SQL. Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, MVC & JQuery will be well utilised, although isn’t required
    • Relevant degree, qualification or job experience within the industry. In your application, we want you to tell us what you’ve delivered that you’re proud of, where you’ve driven an idea through from concept to production.
